Often defined as the preliminary sketch or diagram, the esquisse is a quick exercise where the thinking and description of an initial idea or concept is captured in the clearest and most succinct manner possible.

This edition uses the esquisse as a means of illustrating and sharing specific aspects of our design process at Scott Brownrigg. Showcasing moments of unrestrained investigative design produced at a fast pace.
