Completion of the new six-screen REEL Cinema Farnham marks an exciting milestone at Brightwells Yard - the regeneration of a key site adjacent to Farnham’s historic town centre.

Extending from the river Wey to the town centre, the wider scheme is gradually bringing vitality to this underused part of the town with a newly defined town square, public gardens, and provision of new leisure, retail and residential uses.

Our residential and mixed-use team in Guildford, some of whom have been involved since the project started 24 years ago, attended the official opening night of the new cinema on Friday evening. Replacing the Regal Cinema in East Street demolished in 1987, the new facility has brought a new lease of life to the area with a diverse programme of shows for the local community to enjoy.

We look forward to celebrating the next key milestone – completion and opening of the Grade II Listed Brightwell House, which is currently being refurbished and converted into restaurants.
