Introducing our newly promoted Project Directors, Albena Atanassova, Steven Anderson, Marian Go and Nicola Lombardi.
Albena joined Scott Brownrigg in 2014 and has been a key member of our award-winning sister company Design Delivery since its launch. She has led on a number of large projects including Prince of Wales Drive, Cambium and Marian Place in Bethnal Green.
Actively involved within the industry and the RIBA, Albena chairs RIBA validation boards for schools of architecture in the UK and abroad and is a member of the RIBA Education Development group. She is also one of the founding board members of the Young Architects and Developers Alliance (YADA, championing stories of collaborative project teams, new working methodologies and drivers of business success within the construction industry. Driven, determined and a thoughtful leader, who sets herself and her team high standards, she is also integral to many of our internal groups including the EOT Committee, Project management team and the Apprenticeship team.
Steven is very highly regarded by all of the clients he works with. Since joining in 2013, he has led many notable projects including Lancaster University Library, Milltimber School, North and North East Lincolnshire Schools, Department For International Development East Kilbride and State Street Quartermile.
A pragmatic, enthusiastic problem solver, Steven readily offers his own experience and knowledge to others in the Practice and valuably contributes to the culture of the Edinburgh studio.
Based in our Singapore studio since 2016, Marian’s strong management of client expectations and her quality of work is evident in many of the studio’s projects. Most recently in the nine retail mall bid opportunities for SM Prime, the Philippines largest mall operator, which she led in 2021. With excellent knowledge of BIM and Inclusive Design, Marian also provides the Commercial Lead role on projects.
She has been key in shaping the positive culture within the studio and always leads by example in her work and professional conduct.
Nicola has been key in building our Advanced Technology Sector, with expertise, skill and dedication that are evident by all who work with him. With a huge amount of technical knowledge in Data Centre design and wider Advanced Technology design, he is recognised within the industry as a sector specialist and is fundamental in driving the sector’s design ethos forward.
