5 Foundation Park
We were briefed to create a modern, attractive new office building on this established business park – featuring 66,575 sq ft of net lettable area over three floors.
Using a broadly square building plan, our design showcases a full height central atrium that brings light deep into its core. We created a striking rhythm to the façade by cladding the building with bronze coloured anodized aluminium panels. The massing is completed with a full height glazed second floor, taking full advantage of the countryside location.

The flexible core layout is highly efficient, resulting in a net to gross area ratio of 86%.
A ‘forest’ of two-storey-high bronze coloured aluminium panels create a sense of rhythm across the façade, whilst an undercroft signifies the entrance to the building. On the North East and North West corners of the building, two balconies look out over the adjacent fields and add differentiation to the second storey.
