Scott Brownrigg interiors Director Steffan Wiliams, and Director of the New York Studio Christopher Blackadder will be speaking at the conference to introduce the Design Strategy Unit and to discuss ‘A New Approach to Evidence-led Workplace Design.’ Scott Brownrigg’s Design Strategy Unit analyses the functional and emotional demands of an organisation’s working environment. Using a new approach to engage with employees alongside data driven observational methods, Design Strategy Unit enables business leaders to make informed decisions to align their workplace with their business objectives.

Christopher is a Director at Scott Brownrigg and heads up the New York office which opened in August 2015. Chris has over 20 year’s industry experience, with a background in architecture, project management and workplace consulting. Having worked on a wide range of projects during his career, Chris specialises in the business space, hospitality and residential sectors. Chris has been responsible for many significant developments across the US with clients that have included: MetLife; Deloitte; Macquarie; Bloomberg; Westfield; Hakkasan (New York, LA, San Francisco); NYAC; Rockefeller Foundation; Lend Lease, Nokia Siemens Networks; Proctor & Gamble; Diageo; Reckitt Benckiser; Barclays Capital; Marsh McLennan Companies; Jones Lang LaSalle; Bank of America.
Steffan is a Director at Scott Brownrigg Interior Design and leads the Practice’s Design Strategy Unit. With 20 years industry experience within the commercial interiors sector, Steffan is passionate about design that places people at its core and draws out human emotion. His broad experience has crystallised his belief that the industry is finally coming of age due to a new appreciation of the value interiors offer to business. His approach to this this new opportunity is to gain insight from experts outside of the industry. He has enriched occupant’s experience of his interiors by involving cognitive scientists, statistical analysts, marketers, brand experts and even ornithologists in the creative process.
Scott Brownrigg has now joined WORKTECH Academy as a Corporate Member. The Academy is part of Unwired Ventures who run the global WORKTECH Conferences including WORKTECH17 and looks to explore the future of work and workplace, aiming to provide insight, knowledge and best practice to member organisations across the globe who are involved in architecture, design, real estate, technology and people management.
