Cisco's Visual Event Centre (VEC) at Bedfont Lakes and the Cisco Tandberg scheme have already completed. The Bedfont Lakes scheme hase been designed to accommodate integrated audio and visual facilities to support various size live broadcasts throughout Cisco locally and globally. The auditorium space has the flexibility to either be one large space to accommodate large numbers, or to be divided into several smaller spaces which can be used in the same discipline, simultaneously. The entire 660 sq m (7,100 sq ft) space achieves a visitor experience that is exciting and showcases Cisco technology and equipment within a Cisco branded environment.
Follwing the acquisitioin of Tandberg by Cisco, the primary objective was to ensure the efficient integration of Tandberg's 1,300 sq m (14,000 sq ft) R&D facilities into Cisco's workplace portfolio. The project provides a modern work environment reflective of Cisco’s brand and its current and future ways of working. The new space showcases technologies to clients and also includes lab space consisting of a test lab, large multi-video testing wall, along with various telepresence rooms and a large 2,000 sq ft comms room to support all the technology.
