Scott Brownrigg Interior Design Make Knight Frank In Shining Armour
Scott Brownrigg Interior Design have provided Knight Frank, the residential and commercial property professionals, with a new interior design for their City of London Commercial Property Office.
Knight Frank requested in their brief to have a map as the first thing visitors see as they enter the office. Scott Brownrigg Interior Design answered this part of the brief perfectly by fitting a stunning, backlit map with green film showing the City of London, on to the clean, white wall.
Being on the 7th floor, when visitors enter the reception area they are welcomed with views through large windows, of the buildings built and being constructed within the City of London. Behind the walnut reception desk, the pressed steel wall finish contrasts well with Knight Frank’s chrome logos on a red background. For client functions, a kitchenette and bar forms part of the open reception area. A stainless steel top to the bar and glass fridges for cold drinks, built neatly below the surface continue the light appearance. The low reception seating in the waiting area is covered in grey felt fabric.
The reception area floor is also made of walnut timber and has a silk matt lacquer which prevents scuff marks on the floor. While the floor in the main office is grey rib textured carpet tiles to give a softer touch.
Flexibility is of key importance to Knight Frank and therefore the elegant meeting rooms have full height glass sliding doors, enabling individual rooms to become a free flowing area ideal for client functions. There is a very generous and light feel to the space created by the large windows overlooking the city.
The large meeting room contains a modular rectangular walnut table, whilst the smaller meeting rooms have glass topped tables to give a sense of space. Throughout the meeting rooms all chairs are black leather upholstered. The sliding doors have an opaque band of Knight Frank logos, which enable privacy within the meeting room but still give a light atmosphere.
Within the office area, a stylish break out area for the staff has been designed with a white topped bar table, and kitchenette units with a stainless steel top. The white bar stools with backs, set off nicely against the Amtico silver floor tiles.
The overall brief from Knight Frank was to have a very stylish and elegant office which Scott Brownrigg Interior Design have answered to perfection.
