Scott Brownrigg appoints a Director to its Singapore office

Award-winning international design practice Scott Brownrigg has appointed Raymond Hoe as a Director of its Singapore office, to drive further expansion across the region.

Raymond has 15 years’ professional experience within the industry, having successfully delivered schemes across South East Asia. As a registered architect in Singapore he has a wide range of cross sector design and delivery experience, from masterplanning, residential and mixed use through to commercial, industrial, institutional and hospitality.

Having previously worked for RSP Architects, Planners and Engineers Pte Ltd (Singapore), Raymond joins Scott Brownrigg from WOW Architects Pte Ltd & Warner Wong Pte Ltd where he was Project Director responsible for many significant developments across the region and Singapore. He has managed design and project teams throughout all project stages; from masterplan inception to design implementation through to post-completion and operations hand-over.

Raymond has ensured the successful execution of several notable schemes including the BMW flagship car showroom and award-winning Henderson Wave Bridge in Singapore, flagship M Hotel in Chengdu, China, for Millennium Hotels & Resorts, completion of a large commercial town development in Sanya City, China, for China Vanke Co Ltd and the St Regis Hotel in The Maldives for The Residency Group which was recently shortlisted as a finalist in World Architecture Awards in 2015.

Raymond joins the practice’s growing team in Singapore which was established 3 years ago and will work to secure and develop new opportunities; driving growth and business development across the region.

His strategic appointment reinforces Scott Brownrigg’s international expansion strategy and its commitment to further growing business within South East Asia. His expertise and valuable local knowledge will build upon the strengths of the existing Singapore team which has recently completed the University of Reading Malaysia Campus in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.

Raymond is also an invited design tutor in Department of Architecture in the National University of Singapore.
